• Sources: The Luxembourg dataset is compiled from official sources.
• Update frequency: Monthly.
• Postcodes: four digits, such as 9766 for Munshausen. Send them without the L- prefix. Luxembourg has about 4,200 postcodes.

Finding an address

• A postcode and house number don't identify a Luxembourg address. Autocomplete needs the postcode and street.
• streetNumber is a number; a letter after it is the premise, such as A in 62A. Duerefstrooss 1 in Munshausen exists only as 1A and 1B, so a request without a premise returns a 400 that lists them.

Address fields

• settlement: the locality (localité), such as Munshausen.
• municipality: the commune, such as Clervaux.
• canton: one of the twelve cantons. In the capital it is Luxembourg-ville.
• district: Luxembourg, Diekirch or Grevenmacher. The districts were abolished as administrative units in 2015 but remain in the address register.
• Street names are in Luxembourgish or French as the register writes them, such as Duerefstrooss and Rue de l'Abattoir. There are no translations.
